Hello Neera

  • If you are a General or OBC category candidate, then sorry to say you are not eligible for admission in NITs, IIITs or GFTIs through JEE-Mains. If you belong to SC/ST or PwD category, then there is a relaxation of 10% I.e. required percentage would be 65% aggregate in 10+2.
Or

  • You need to be amongst the top 20 percentile of your boards.
If you satisfy any of the above given criteria, then yes you are eligible to take admission in NITs.
