Correct Answer: Rs. 15,000
Solution : Let the total profit be $P$. Given that A and B invest in the ratio 3 : 2, A's share of the profit would be $\frac{3}{5}$th of the total profit after deducting the charity amount. $\frac{3}{5} \times (P - 0.05P) = 8550$ $⇒\frac{3}{5} \times 0.95P = 8550$ $⇒P = \frac{8550 \times 5}{3 \times 0.95}=15000$ Hence, the correct answer is Rs.15,000.
