Correct Answer: 295
Solution : Given that B got 220 marks and A got 18% more than that of B, So, A's marks = 118% of 220 = 259.6 Also, A's marks are 12% less than C's marks. ⇒ (100 – 12)% of C's marks = A's marks ⇒ 88% of C's marks = A's marks ⇒ C's marks = $\frac{259.6}{88}\times 100$ = $\frac{25960}{88}$ = 295 Hence, the correct answer is 295.
