Correct Answer: 295


Solution : Given that B got 220 marks and A got 18% more than that of B,
So, A's marks = 118% of 220 = 259.6
Also, A's marks are 12% less than C's marks.
⇒ (100 – 12)% of C's marks = A's marks
⇒ 88% of C's marks = A's marks
⇒ C's marks = $\frac{259.6}{88}\times 100$
= $\frac{25960}{88}$
= 295
Hence, the correct answer is 295.
