Correct Answer: 1,600

Solution : A, B and C started a business investing amounts of INR 13,750, INR 16,250 and INR 18,750 respectively.
In the partnership business profit is distributed in the ratio of their Investment.
Ratio of investment of A, B and C = 13750 : 16250 : 18750 = 11 : 13 : 15
B's share is 13 units = 5,200
⇒ 1 unit = 400
The difference in the profit earned by A and C is (15 – 11) = 4 units = INR 400 × 4 = INR 1600
$\therefore$ The difference in the profit earned by A and C is INR 1,600.
Hence, the correct answer is 1,600.
