Hi

As the height is proportional to aware of the velocity therefore the height after the first bounce would be one fourth that is 5m.

Now the time for first bounce sq(20/10 *2) that is 2s.

Now time for second bounce 2 * sq (1) that is 2s.

Therefore total time taken is equal to two plus two that is 4s.
