Correct Answer: 8

Solution : The correct answer is 8.

Force = Mass(m)* Acceleration(a)

Acceleration of the body is to be calculated first:

Acceleration(a)= Change in Velocities (v-u)/Time Taken(t),

where v=Final velocity and u =Initial Velocity

a = (v-u) / t

a = (25-15) / 5

a = 2 m/s²

Now, the force applied to the body is:

F=m*a

F = (4)(2)

F = 8 N

As a result, the force's magnitude is 8 N .
