A bonafide resident of Punjab has passed MBBS from AIIMS. whether he/she is eligible for state merit list for admission in MD/MS in Punjab colleges?
Suman, AIIMS had its own Medical Entrance Examination fora dmission to its branches. So even if you have completed your MBBS in any other State in any of the AIIMS branch, it doesn't rule you out of your State's domicile eligibility. NBE is the exam conducting authority for NEET PG and so if you are a bonafide resident of Punjab, you are eligible for 50% State Counselling in Punjab Medical Colleges. You may have to prove your domicile by producing relevant documents during counselling. That might be your Native certificate or a Permanent residence proof.
Hello,
According to NBE guidelines you are eligible for state seats in your state of domicile, that is, the state in which you have done 7 years of your schooling.
So if you have done your schooling in Punjab you are eligible for state quota even if you have completed your MBBS in aiims
Hope this helps.
All the best
