Correct Answer: 2400
Solution : Let total work to be done = LCM (8, 10, 12) = 120 units A can do the work in 8 days. ⇒ A's efficiency = $\frac{120}{8} = 15$ units/day Similarly, B's efficiency = $\frac{120}{10} = 12$ units/day and C's efficiency = $\frac{120}{12} = 10$ units/day Total amount to be paid = Rs. 7400 $\therefore$ B's share $=\frac{12}{15+12+10}×7400=2400$ Hence, the correct answer is 2400.
