Correct Answer: $\frac{4}{5}$


Solution : Given, a can of mixture of water and milk containing 60% milk.
Then, a part of this mixture is replaced by another mixture containing 50% milk.
The percentage of milk is found to be 52%.
⇒ The ratio of the original solution that has 60% milk concentration to the solution that has 50% milk concentration = 2 : 8 = 1 : 4
Now, the quantity is replaced,
= $1−\frac{1}{1+4}$ = $\frac{4}{5}$
Hence, the correct answer is $\frac{4}{5}$.
