See it does not matter, at the time of admission from which category you belongs to because your category will be determined by your category certificate until and unless you belongs to General category but as you have mentioned that you belongs to OBC category so you will get the reservation benefit only if you belongs to Non-Creamy Layer because the Creamy Layer of OBC has no reservation benefits and are considered under General category. So if you have the valid category certificate of OBC-NCL then you will be considered under OBC-NCL candidate whether you belongs to Creamy layer or not because the certificate is issued after the complete verification and it is valid for at least one year and may exceed depending upon states.
