Correct Answer: 500 Shares

Solution : Application Received = 6,00,000

Application Rejected = 1,00,000

Total Shares Alloted= Application Received - Application Rejected

= 6,00,000 - 1,00,000 = 5,00,000 shares.

5,00,000 applied = 5,00,000 allotted

500 applied = 5,00,000/ 5,00,000 x 500 = 500 Shares.
Hence, the correct answer is option 2.
