Dear Aspirant,

You can join bachelor's course and then go for master's. There is no direct path to a M.Tech degree. Diploma holders are also not eligible for appearing in GATE.

The option for dual degree course is also there but there are no provisions of Lateral entry.

HELLO SAYANDEB
The answer is yes but you cant directly complete m.tech first.
you will have to pursue a B.E degree(lateral entry for diploma students) in your respective discipline and then you should prepare for GATE exam for the selected discipline and then after qualifying with a good percentile you can either Pursue an M.TECH degree in IITS or NITS or you can do a job in psu. Well there are many other benefits of gate exam ill share you a link where you can get all the details regarding GATE exam.
The syllabus is different for different courses registered for the gate.

Hi,
Sorry to say but no you can not do a M.tech after a diploma in polytechnic because Polytechnic is diploma which is equivalent to 10+3.
If you really want to do a M.tech after polytechnic then
First you have to do a B.tech, after polytechnic you can also take lateral entry to B.tech 2nd year. Then after ( lateral entry)B.tech, you can apply for M.tech with GATE or on other institutions.
