If a person is divorced, then she can provide that she is present in the parental family. Now the eligibility for the EWS is always mentioned on the Family matter. So if you have a Family which have more than the eligible limits of EWS, then you aren't eligible for the EWS.

Now there can be some legal loopholes through which you can get the EWS certificate, for that I would recommend you to atleast consult a Lawyer as they can guide you out.

The eligibility for the EWS certificate are:

• The annual income of the family of candidate should not exceed 8lakh per annum.
• The family should not hold 5 or more than 5 acres of land.
• The family shouldn't have a residential area more than 1000 sq feet.
