TTE exam is conducted every year by Indian railway recruitment board. They hire candidates for Bhartiya Rail Ticket Collector Jobs under yearly entrance exams for non-technical posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

If your friend wants to apply for the post he should have passed 10th std from a recognized board or have passed 12th or should possess a diploma degree.

The age limit for TTE examination is 18-30 years, while SC/ST candidates are allowed to avail a relaxation of 5 years while OBCs are allowed to avail a relaxation of 3 years.

Syllabus: For Qualifying the TTE Exam the prescribed syllabus is General Aptitude, General Knowledge, English and Reasoning.

Pay Scale: The pay scale of RRB TTE is in the range of Rs. 5200/--20,200/- + Grade Pay of Rs 1900/-. The basic salary would be approximately Rs 15000/- but adding the gross allowances it comes to be around Rs 36000/-.
