Correct Answer: INR 20,000
Solution : Let the marked price of the watch be INR $x$. Selling price of watch with 12% discount = $\frac{100-12}{100}x$ = $\frac{88}{100}x$ Selling price of watch with 24% discount = $\frac{100-24}{100}x$ = $\frac{76}{100}x$ According to the question, $\frac{88x}{100}-\frac{76x}{100}=2400$ $⇒\frac{12x}{100}=2400$ $⇒x=20000$ Hence, the correct answer is INR 20,000.
