Correct Answer: 56
Solution : Given: A man takes 15 minutes to row 16 km downstream. 15 minutes $= \frac{15}{60}=\frac{1}{4}$ hours Downstream speed $= \frac{16}{\frac{1}{4}} = 64$ km/h Man takes 25% more time in upstream, So, upstream speed = $64×\frac{75}{100}=48$ km/h Speed of boat in still water = $\frac{64+48}{2}=56$ km/h So, distance travelled in an hour in still water = 56 km Hence, the correct answer is 56.
