Hi Candidate,

The force in the Merry- Go Round is produced as a result of Centripetal acceleration acting on the body (Merry-go-round) which helps the body to move in a circular motion.

The formula for Centripetal Force is given by mass multiplied by Centripetal acceleration. So, the Centripetal force= m*w*w*r.

Here mass= 1640kg, Radius= 7.50m, Rotational velocity (w)= 8 rev. per second.                                    Force= 1640*8*8*7.50= 787.2 KNewton.

Hope that this answer helps you!!
