Hello candidate,
Capacitor is an electronic device which is used to charge and Store electricity in the form of positive and negative charges while remaining of the circuit is in discharging mode.
The capacitor gains its stored energy in the form electronic charges which gets active during the the charging of the circuit which initially has zero stored power in the capacitor, which gets utilised during discharging mode eventually.
