Considering that the velocity of particle is uniform, then
When the particle completes half revolution change in velocity
Δv=[v−(−v)] = 2v m/s
Time taken to complete the half revolution is
t=πr/v sec
Thus, average acceleration =Δv/t=2v/(πr/v)
Avg. Acceleration is = 2vv/πr
