Hello dear,
According to the percentile that the student has secured in jee mains, his general rank will be above 1.5lakh and he will not able to qualify jee mains in general category but his category rank will somehow close to 10k and he can qualify only in his category.

According to your answer, he always can admission in good NIT college with his SC rank. Am I right ?... please asked me.
