Solution :
Simple interest in 1 year = 6072 – 5704 = Rs. 368
Simple interest in 3 years = 368 × 3 = Rs. 1104
We know, Amount = Principal + Simple Interest
⇒ 5704 = Principal + 1104
$\therefore$ Principal = Rs. 4600
Hence, the correct answer is Rs. 4600.
