Correct Answer: 10%


Solution : Let the cost price be Rs.100.
Marked price = 100 +2 5 = Rs. 125
Discount = 12% of marked price
Selling price = 88% of marked price = 0.88 × 125 = Rs. 110
Profit = 110 – 100 = 10
Profit % = $\frac{10}{100}×100$ = 10%
Hence, the correct answer is 10%.
