Solution : Given: A train starts from station A and reaches station B.15 minutes late when it moves at 40 km/hr and 24 minutes late when it goes at 30 km/hr.
Here, we have to find the distance.
Let x kilometers represent the separation between stations A and B.
Considering the circumstances,
x30−x40=(24−15)×160
x20=960=>x120=960
x=120×960=18kms
