Correct Answer: 45 m

Solution : Previous height of tree = 50 m
Reduced by 10%
Present height of the tree = 90%
$\therefore$ Present height = $\frac{100-10}{100}\times$ previous height
= $\frac{90}{100}\times50$
= 45 m
Hence, the correct answer is 45 m.
