Hi
JEE Main and JEE Advanced are two different exams on two different levels.
For candidates who will qualify in JEE Main will get admission in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other private institutes. However, for candidates who will qualify in JEE Main with ranks upto 2,24,000 will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced and will get admission in IITs if they qualify in the exam.
So, to get admission in IITs, you need to qualify both JEE Main (with ranks upto 2,24,000) and JEE Advanced.
