IIT Bombay will conduct Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2018 on January 20 from 10 am to 1 pm. CEED entrance test is held for admissions to Masters of Design (M.Des) programme across IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IIITDM Jabalpur and IISc Bangalore. CEED is also the qualifying examination for admission to Ph.D programme in Design at IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur and IISc Bangalore.
Candidates must note that only qualifying in CEED 2018 doesn’t guarantee admission into M.Des programmes, as the candidates may have to appear in further tests or interviews conducted by the individual institutes.
Below is the eligibility criteria of the exam
-As per the examination conducting body, for taking CEED 2018 the candidates need to have passed a degree/diploma/postgraduate degree programmes of 4 years or 3+2 years.
-Candidates appearing in the final exam of such programmes by July 2018 or candidates with passed GD Arts diploma programme by July 2017 are also considered eligible.
-There is no capping on the number of times candidates wants to appear in CEED 2018. Also, there is no age limit for appearing in CEED 2018.

CEED is a joint entrance exam for for admissions to Masters Programmes in the field of technological design held annually jointly at all IITs and Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
