Hope you are doing well. If you get a seat in any of the colleges in K-CET in any of branches, you have to mandatorily pay the tuition fees as prescribed by K-CET every year. The advantage of K-CET is that the tuition fees is less compared to tuition fees through COMED-K. I hope you got the point after reading this answer.

Obtaining a seat via merit list in KCET entrance exam doesn't offer you no fees criteria. You'll have to pay the required amount per semester, which is different for each courses. However, the amount is too little as compared to private colleges.
