Good Luck
Hello,
if you want to pursue Mechanical engineering then IIT or NIT will be better option. why ? because they do work one real life projects which is funded by different organizations or government as NIT and IIT are research based institutes.
In university or government college, there you will get all the competitions opportunities. MNC organize the competitions at top universities or government college and many private college participate. You will get chance to show your skills.
in private college, working on projects is available in top campuses else they will only teach you theory and practical as it is mentioned in syllabus.
Scope is good if you are able to find the correct job. Mostly ME students work in corporate companies or government jobs. so if you really want to do in ME stream then IIT/NIT is the best place.
Hope it helps!
