Yes. Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University, Hyderabad conducts a personal university entrance exam to admit students into the MSc in Food and Nutrition course along with graduation marks.
The eligibilty requirement is that the candidate must have passed B.Sc. (Home Science/Community Science) / B.Sc.(Hons.) Home Science of 4 years duration from recognized university. In addition to this, the selection shall be based on the previous academic record at Under Graduate level and performance in entrance test and the weightage would be in the ratio of 30:70. The entrance test shall be comprehensive one, covering all relevant subjects prescribed for the concerned Bachelor degree requirements of this University.
There are only 6 seats for MSc Food and Nutrition and the total fees for this course is about Rs.48.36k.
However, interviews are not required for MSc program. Interviews are only done for the PhD and MBA programs.
