Mohit pal please reply , your Central obc certificate issued on whose certificate basis because in sdm office they ask for obc certificate of state , is your central obc certificate issued on the basis of your father or brother obc certificate ?? I want my Central obc certificate without applying for state obc . Where are you from which state.

The OBC category has two types of certificates :-

• Central OBC certificate.
• State OBC certificate.

Central OBC certificate it is notified by the central government . The central OBC certificate will be  applicable to both central and state  jobs or during counselling.

Where as State OBC certificate  it is notified by State government .It is applicable to relevant state government jobs .

1. But State OBC certificate is not applicable for central jobs it is only applicable for  relevant state job.

so mohith as you said you had central OBC  caste certificate it will be applicable for both state and also central jobs.

It will  be mentioned on the certificate whether the caste certificate is notified by central/state government.
