There are many good colleges for aeronautical engineering in India,  most of the IITs have a good aeronautical engineering and some private colleges like Chandigarh college also have a good aeronautical engineering. You can also try to get into IIST ( Indian Institute of space research and technology). Since your final aim is to join IAF,  then college shouldn't matter that much.

For joining indian airforce you do not need to go for aeronautical engineering especially because there are a lot of ways to enter airforce. Basically there are three branches in indian airforce i.e flying, ground duty and technical. For technical especially they require B.Tech. For other branches they dont specifically ask for b.tech. Incase you genuienly want to learn aeronautical then go for it. No specific college is given special preferance in defence. What matters is your knowledge about your domain. So opt for a well recognised college and prepare for AFCAT exam along with that EKT(engineering knowledge test)
