Dear Student,
Being from PCM stream in your 12th is no demerit for your will to do B.pharma. You are eligible to do B.pharma being a student of not having Biology as subject. Following are some details regarding admissions in MJPRU specially regarding B.pharma :-
Pharmacy Admission Procedure :-
A-The admission in thePharmacyCourse will be made by M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, U.P. through All India Entrance Examination.
B-The NRI sponsored candidates will not be required to appear in the Entrance test. They will admitted according to the merit in the qualification examination and personal interview. No marks allotted for Personal Interview.
C-The information Brochure enclosing the application form forPharmacywill be available from the office of the Institute of Engineering and technology on the payment of Rs. 550/-( this include the examination fee) in form of a demand draft in favour of Finance Officer, M.J.P. Rohilkhand University between 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. On all working day as per the notification issued by the University. The same may be obtained from different branches of Union bank of India after payment of Rs. 560/- in cash to the bank. The NRI sponsored candidates have also to apply on the prescribed form even if they are applying exclusively under this category. However, applicants residing in foreign country may apply on plain paper among with the prescribed fee.
D-The Information Brochure can also be obtained on request by post on remitting a demand draft of the value of Rs. 575/- in favour of theFINANCE OFFICER, M.J.P. ROHILKHAND UNIVERSITY,payable at Bareilly only. The request for Information Brochure by post should be addressed to the Co-ordinator, Entrance Examination Cell, IET Building, Nehru Kendra, M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly-243006 (U.P.). The candidate asking for supply of Information Brochure by post should write on the top of the envelope," Request for supply of Information Brochure". Request received thereafter may not be entertained.
E-The cost of Brochure and examination fee paid is non-refundable.
F-A candidate, desirous of being considered for more than one category has to indicate on the application form and pay the additional amount in the form of a demand draft of Rs. 100/- (i.e. for Normal and NRI both categories corresponding to seat category Code 33)
G-A candidate desirous of being considered for more than one course has to indicate on the application form and pay the additional draft of Rs. 250/- in favour of Finance Officer.
EXAMINATION FEE :-
The examination fee for a single course is included in the cost of brochure. However for more than one course an additional draft of Rs. 250/- in favour of Finance Officer, MJP Rohilkhand University, payable at Bareilly is to be enclosed with the filled application form.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION :-
The candidate will apply for Entrance Examination for admission to thePharmacycourse on the prescribed form given in the brochure. The completed filled application form must be submitted to the Co-ordinator, Entrance Examination Cell, IET Building, Nehru Kendra, MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly-243006 in person or by post and it must reach on before the last date.
Conduct ofPharmacyEntrance Exam :-
1.The MJP Rohilkhand University will arrange for conduct for the Entrance Examination.
2.The examination paper will comprise of objective type questions. Each question will have multiple choices.
3.Each paper carries 100 marks.
4.Biology paper is only for those who opt for B.Pharma. However they may also opt for mathematics as subject of examination in place of biology for B.Pharma course.
5.For B.Tech courses the merit will be prepared on adding the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
6.For B.Pharma the merit will be prepared on adding the marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics.
RESULT
The result of thePharmacyadmission test is expected to be declared after one month of the entrance exam by the University. Answer sheets will be evaluated through OMR technique. The result will be displayed on the notice boards of the administrative building of the university and Institute of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly. The result will also be published in those newspapers who accept to publish it free of cost. The candidates are expected to see the results on their own. However, the successful candidates will be informed individually by registered post. Any postal delay will not be the responsibility of the University.
