Eligibility criteria regarding your course -
The basic eligibility for admission in Master of planning in Urban and Regional Planning program is,
- The candidate must have passed B.Planning/BE Civil/B.Arch/or Masters in Economics, Geography, Sociology
- With a minimum 55% score from a recognized Indian University or International University.
- It must also be recognised by UGC/IGNOU/AIU or associations like AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST, reserved list will be given relaxation of 5% in every institute.
- Candidates with GATE scores are not required to write any entrance exam.
- Candidates with no GATE scores must attend the entrance exam conducted by the respective university/Institution.
Admission procedure -
- Some Institutes provide exemption from entrance exam for applicants with GATE exam scores
- Admission will be calculated based on academic records and GATE score, that is 80% weightage to GATE score and 20% weightage to 10+2 and UnderGraduate / PostGraduate marks.
- If the candidate has no GATE scores, then the admission will be calculated based on academic records and entrance test scores.
- That is, 80% weightage to marks obtained in the Entrance exam and 20% weightage to 10+2 and UnderGraduate / PostGraduate marks.
