Admission into BAMS course in either government or private ayurvedic college is through your score in NEET UG exam.
Course duration is 4.5 years with one year of internship.To be eligible for the course you need physics, chemistry and biology as your subjects in class 12th with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for general candidates and 45% for Pwd candidates and 40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates.

BAMS Course Eligibility
Candidates are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria in order to get admission into BAMS courses.
Candidates are required to pass Class 12 or equivalent examination with science subjects ( Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English core in both Class 11 and 12 from a recognised board.
Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or as on 31st December, 2019
Candidates need to secure 50% of marks in their Class 12 Board examination.
Candidates need to have qualified NEET 2019 to get admission in BAMS course.
BAMS Admission Process
Admission to BAMS courses will be taken on the basis of NEET UG score and the corresponding rank. therefore , candidates are required to qualify NEET conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). In order to take admission to BAMS course, candidates are required to qualify NEET 2019 with minimum required percentile.
