Admission procedure for MBA in Loyola college , Chennai

The admissions for the MBA programme in Loyola college is under Loyola Institute of Business Admission. It ranks 36th in accordance to NIRF. It offers a 2 years full time residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which is equivalent to MBA. It is approved by AICTE. Specialisation : Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Systems, and Business Analytics. this program recognised by AIU. The exams accepted for admission are CAT and XAT.
The Eligibility Criteria for Admission into the LIBA is:
1)A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised institution (AIU) that shall be completed only through the regular mode.
2) Consistency in securing first class (60%) throughout class 10, class 12 and graduation. Preference will be given to the candidates who have cleared the exams in the first attempt. Candidates having more than two arrears will not meet the eligibility criteria.
3) The CAT or XAT are exams are taken into consideration for the admission.
4.) Candidates who are in the final year of Bachelor's or any equivalent course are also eligible if they have completed the degree requirements. They will be required to submit their final marksheet on a date decided by the authorities.
The Admission Process is as follows:
Step 1: After meeting the eligibility criteria , the candidates should apply to LIBA by completing the online admission application form at LIBA website by the last date. The candidates must provide the registration ID of their CAT/XAT examinations. Registration ID in LIBA application form to finalize the application process.
Step 2: The short-listed candidates would be called for the further two-stage process, namely;
1)Group Discussion (GD)
2)Personal Interview (PI)
The GD-PI process will be conducted at Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai
Step 3: Positive scores in the GD-PI round followed by a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in entrance exam, performance in PI round, academics, Quality of Work Experience among others will be the fundamentals in the selection process.
