Hey,

Admission Procedure for the LLB course depends upon many factors including college, course, institution type, and 10+2 or other undergraduate degree marks. The basic admission process includes:

  • To be admitted to three-year LLB programmes, students must first earn a bachelor's degree in any subject, such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, or BCA. For admission to five-year LLB programmes, students must complete 10+2.
  • The minimum marks may differ; some universities require 50%, while others require only 45%. In addition, there is a waiver in the required marks for public law colleges.
  • Candidates seeking admission to five-year LLB studies can take entrance tests such as CLAT, AILET, SLAT, and KLEE.
  • The candidate can select an entrance exam based on the college they want to attend; for example, to gain admission to Delhi University, one must pass the DU LLB entrance exam.
  • Direct admission based on qualifying exam results is another typical entry technique, with KSLU being a prominent example.
  • In this scenario, there is no entrance exam, and the candidate is just expected to meet LLB eligibility requirements such as qualifying exam and minimum marks.

The admission process can vary from one college to another and depends upon various factors. To know more detailed information about the course, please refer to the following page: https://www.careers360.com/courses/llb-bachelor-of-legislative-law

Hello Deepak,

Hope you are doing well.

Admission procedure to get into LLB course depends upon the university which you wish to join. If you are wishing to get into an NLU (National Law University), then you need to give the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) and depending upon your rank, you will get the seat.

However, if you wish to get into any state law universities, you can give exams which conducted by the state, such as LAWCET exams.

Hope this helps.

Hello aspirant,

After graduating, students can apply for admission to a three-year LLB programme. After completing their 10+2 education, students can also pursue a five-year LLB degree study. There are two methods used in the LLB admissions process: entrance exam scores (PU LLB, DU LLB, and MH CET Law) and qualifying exam scores. Candidates may sit for entrance tests like CLAT, AILET, SLAT, and KLEE in order to be considered for admission to five-year LLB programmes.
