Hello Gayatri,
There can be Three ways to get into the institute.
JEE mains (Average) +( Good) 12th Boards ( if you are a general category person belonging to non-hindi minority) through your CAPS Round.
JEE mains (Below- average) +( Below -Average) 12th Boards ( if you are a general category person belonging to Hindi minority) through Management quota of the college (Although the term 'Management Quota' is used the process is fair and transparent and your selection would depend directly upon your rank in PCML (Preliminary Cumulative Merit List) & FCML (Final Cumulative Merit List)
A person belonging to the non-hindi minority section can also seek admission via Management Quota but the Hindi Minority section person would always have an edge for this particular college. The person needs to have Good JEE Mains and Good 12th score
*For a general category person
Good JEE- 95–100
Good 12th - 85 odd percentage.
*For a hindi minority student
Average JEE - 60–70
Average 12th - Around 70 odd percentage.
P.S. - There is also state and other state quota, so the students from Maharashtra have an edge here. Also, if you take admission via Management quota there is no caste based induction, a SC student would be paying the same fees as a general category student.
Good luck.
