Hi Rambir

Institutions or states conduct their own entrance exams for admissions to undergraduate nursing courses. For instance, AIIMS New Delhi conducts B.Sc. Nursing entrance exam on the basis of which admissions to B.Sc. Nursing in all seven AIIMS institutions takes place. Similarly, JIPMER conducts its own entrance exam for admission to B.Sc. Similarly, Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) is conducted for admission to B.Sc. Nursing courses all in government or private colleges in Maharashtra.

Besides that, one of the major eligibility criteria pertains to qualifying examination. It is generally stipulated by all exam conducting authorities, that the candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) as core subjects.

Hope it helps!
All the best!
