Admission process in LNJN NICFS and eligibility criteria and which body organise admission entrance exam in Bsc-Msc forensic science

Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (GGSIPU CET).
Qualification :- 50%
Entry Criteria :- IPU CET
Other eligibility criteria :-
Candidates must have completed B.Sc.(Hons) in Physics or Applied Physics or Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or Biochemistry or Toxicology or Industrial Chemistry or Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Statistics or Biology (Zoology or Botany or Genetics or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Physical Anthropology) or B.Sc. Forensic Science or B.Tech (Mechanical or Civil or Electronics or Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering or Computer Science)with the above mentioned marks. Or B.Sc. of minimum 3 years duration with the above mentioned marks from a recognized University. Also, Candidate must have studied from atleast 1st year (2 semesters) of the 3 years degree course any 2 subjects out of (1) Physics, 2) Mathematics or Statistics 3) Chemistry 4) Biology (Zoology or Botany or Genetics or Biochemistry or Biotechnology or Physical Anthropology).
Everyone should know before joining that LNJP National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science, is not a College, it’s an Institute. The environment is student friendly but all the student have to maintain discipline and dignity of the institute. This is basically a training institute where officers from IB, CBI AND NARCOTICS get trained.
