Admission in Banaras Hindu University is through National level Undergraduate ( UET) and Postgraduate ( PET) entrance tests.

BHU UET is an undergraduate entrance test conducted by the university for admission to various undergraduate programmes offered by the University and its affiliated colleges. It is conducted both in paper based as well as computer based mode.

Registration for this usually takes place between February - march.

Admission in all UG courses in BHU is done based on the entrance exam conducted by BHU. In order to get admission in BSc physics in BHU, you have to appear and qualify BHU UET. It is the university level entrance examination of BHU. The exam dates is still not announced but it is expected that the application form will be released in the end of January. Based on the marks obtained in the exam candidates are shortlisted for admission in their selected course.

The eligibility criteria of the exam is that the candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in PCM and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Zoology, Statistics, Geology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Geography.

The eligibility criteria for BHU Bsc physics is that the candidates must have completed 10+2 examinations and also have scored 50% marks.If you are eligible then fill up the application form for BHU Common entrance tests.For Bsc admission preferance are given to the candidates having highest marks in the exam.All the best for admission.
