Aeronautical engineering is a specialised branch of engineering and a field of science that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of various aircraft and their components. Only a few colleges in India offer a course in Aeronautical Engineering. However, many colleges offer Aerospace Engineering , both of these branches of engineering are closely related.


Aeronautical engineering syllabus includes topics like Aerospace Materials and Manufacturing Technology, Aircraft Structures, Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics and Mechanics, Flight Mechanics and Aerodynamics, Aircraft Design, Avionics Navigation to name a few.
