Hey Aspirant,

Aeronautical engineering is a more specialised field of engineering. State and Central government have not permitted any kind of gender bias for education or for employment.

Girls should feel proud and confident of being a woman engineer !!!

After all girls can excel in any field.......!

There are Degree and Post graduate level courses in Aeronautical engineering in engineering stream, but is not common to all engineering colleges. Quite a few examples are B Tech in Aerospace Engineering offered by Amrita Viswa vidya peetham, Ettimadai, Coimbatore, B Tech in Aeronautical Engineering offered by Jawahar College of Engineering and Technology, Kerala (http://www.jcet.co.in/Aeronotical.aspx) , Aeronautical Engineering offered by Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore (http://www.nehrucolleges.org/programmes.html) , BTech Aerospace Engineering and also Avionics offered by Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala (http://www.iist.ac.in/)

Hope this will help you.
