Hello,

Aerospace engineering helps you to design , manufacture , or maintain the spacecraft , aircraft , missiles weapons etc.

It ranges from topics like computer applications, mathematics , Physics , electricity , robotics etc. This field requires mathematical skills , calculative, and observational skills.

You need physics , chemistry ,and maths to be eligible for the admission.

This course is offered for post graduation and requires 55% in graduation .

And if you want to join NASA then you have to do additional course like biochemical engineering etc. You are recruited in  DRDO , NAL , Isro etc.

Mechanical engineering  is a vast subject and is important in every aspect of our lives.

Both btech and Mtech can be done in this branch.

If you like problems and want to solve them by your abilities then its the subject for you.

In this you need maths, physics, and chemistry.

Even armed forces hire mechanical engineers.

Some recruiter are railways, Honda, hero, bhel ,ntpc etc.

Hope this helps!!

Dear aspirant,
Aerospace engineers and mechanical engineers both work on the development and construction of equipment and devices. The major difference between these two are that the former is relatively narrow fiel focusing on airplanes and other aerospace related machines. by contrast mechanical engineering is a broad field that encompasses work in a wide variety of industries and serving a multitude of purposes. Aerospace engineers tackles aerodynamics and flight mechanics in a way that mechanical engineer typically do not.
Now coming to the career options after completing BTech in mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering. Well aerospace engineers are highly paid professions in the engineering job market. However in recent years the availability of aerospace engineers increased drastically. Key areas of employment after completing aerospace engineering are are in space research centres like NASA and ISRO, aeronautical development establishment, aeronautical laboratories, aircraft manufacturing companies, defence research and development organisation, defence services, department of Civil aviation etc. In case of mechanical Engineering jobs directly related to your degree include automobile engineering contracting civil engineering control and instrumentation Engineering etc. But nowadays demand of Mechanical Engineering in market has drastically decreased and the median salary it is also not up to the mark. Now the choice is yours if you you can pursue mechanical engineering from an well-established institute is obviously a good choice.
Hope you have understood.

Hey Aspirant,

Aerospace engineers are more likely to work for the military or government than mechanical engineers, and they may be involved with designing weapons or satellites. Mechanical engineers can be involved with designing and building things as varied as robots and generators to elevator and automobile systems.

Choose according to your wish.

All the best!!

Hello Aspirant

Aerospace Engineers

Aeronautics designers work with mechanical gear that is intended to work noticeable all around or in space. They are answerable for delivering things like rockets and planes. A four year certification in aeronautic design is needed to seek after a vocation in this field and it's significant for these experts to have solid numerical aptitudes and mechanical abilities. They likewise need PC abilities to work plan programming and run recreations. It's normal for aviation design specialists to perform a large portion of their obligations in an office. Most aviation design specialists work all day and task pioneers may need to stay at work longer than required hours.

Job responsibilities of an aerospace engineer include:

  • Designing aerospace and aviation products
  • Analyzing the design plan for issues
  • Running simulations to determine product performance
  • Establishing operating standards for products
  • Developing prototypes

Mechanical Engineers

So as to turn into a mechanical designer, it's important to have in any event a four year college education in mechanical designing. Having a Professional Engineer (PE) permit may likewise be a prerequisite for certain positions, and an advanced education might be important to seek after progression openings in this field. Mechanical specialists use their imaginative gifts by delivering configuration plans for machines and different sorts of mechanical gadgets or frameworks. They are essentially associated with all phases of creating the gadgets they help plan and survey the qualities and shortcomings of their plan designs and refine their arrangements so as to make their items as proficient and compelling as could reasonably be expected. They basically work in an office however may likewise head out to as a feature of their obligations to review gear that is failing.

Job responsibilities of a mechanical engineer include:

  • Modifying designs of existing systems
  • Producing prototypes of machines
  • Identifying problems that need to be repaired or corrected
  • Analyzing data produced by assessing prototypes and machines
  • Monitoring production of machines

Hope this helps you

Hey aspirant
Aerospace engineers and mechanical engineers both work on the development and construction of equipment and devices. However, when considering aerospace engineering vs. mechanical engineering, keep in mind that the former is a relatively narrow fiel , focusing on airplanes and other aerospace-related machines. By contrast, mechanical engineering is a broad field that encompasses work in a wide variety of industries and serving a multitude of purposes.
Aerospace engineers and mechanical engineers overlap in their interest in the design, manufacture and testing of machines. They work to make equipment that operates efficiently, effectively and safely, and they examine and analyze the equipment to ensure that it meets certain standards and goals.
Many of the same engineering principles apply to both fields, but aerospace engineers tackle aerodynamics and flight mechanics in a way that mechanical engineers typically do not.

So by taking these all points you've to choose your branch according to your interest.

Hope this helps you !!
