After 10 which course i shohld take to become a software engineer
Path -1 : Polytechnic
You can head towards polytechnic engineering after passing 10th. This will be a great start if you want to be a software engineer and won't change your decision later. This path is less competitive than general path to be an engineer. After 3 years of diploma course you can get direct admission into 2nd year of B.Tech course. You will be half engineer with a lot of practical knowledge through this way just after competing diploma. You can get job just after passing diploma also.
Path - 2 : Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)
The second option is not that easy compared to the first one. However this is the general way of becoming an engineer. You have to pass class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must score 75% to be eligible for JEE Main exam. With hurdles come rewards - the joy of getting into an NIT or IIT is what aspirants get after clearing the JEE Main or JEE Advanced. You will be studying in one of the most prestigious colleges in India. Lots of opportunities will be hovering around you. Studying CSE in NITs or IITs will get you a prestigious job indeed. But as I said earlier, the path is not so easy. You have to work hard to get a seat in these premium colleges.
Conclusion: The choice is yours. All the best.
Hello,
If you aspire to be a software engineer, then you should go for the Science stream after passing the 10th standard. You must study Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. As you want to go for the technical area, choose Computer science as an optional subject instead of Biology.
Hope this helps!!!
