Dear student

First know your strengths and weaknesses to become a good chemical engineer you will have to be good at PCM. Some of the chemical engineering subjects are based on physical chemistry, organic chemistry subjects like heat transfer, mass transfer and thermodynamics are also there. physics and mathematics also plays an important role. After 10th you can also do ‘diploma in chemical engineering’, diploma holders are also in demand nowadays. after completing your diploma you can join degree program in chemical engineering. or other option is to complete your 12th from maths-science stream, prepare for JEE exam and try to get a reputed engineering college. There are so many engineering branches which comes under chemical engineering (or related to chemical engineering) these are B.tech. pulp & paper engineering, BSc chemical engineering (3year), dairy technology, petrochemical engineering, chemical technology. you can join any of these branches.
