Hello,

The minimum education eligibility to appear for UPSC Civil Service entrance is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized board. So there isn't particular stream from which a candidate has to pass in 10+2 or bachelor's degree. So you have to choose a stream in 10+2 based on your interest. You need to pass in 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board. After that you need to take admission in bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized board. Here are some insights about UPSC Civil Services Entrance exam

  • The exam is conducted in 3 stages namely Preliminary, Mains and Personality Test
  • Preliminary exam is an objective pen and paper based exam
  • Mains is a written exam with subjective questions
  • Personality Test will be conducted in the form of Interview
  • Preliminary  exam has two papers:- 1)General Studies Paper-I 2) General Studies Paper-II)
  • Mains exam has Nine Papers
