After 12 how could apply for Du for Mass communication coursey

Hi Srishti,

DU does not offer a course in Mass Communication, but a similar course is Bachelor of Arts in Journalism which is available in a lot of colleges. You have to appear for the Media and Journalism Entrance Exam conducted by DU. Visit the DU website and fillup the form for it. The exam consists of basic questions from aptitude and general awareness. On the basis of your test score and class 12th marks, you will be able to get into DU. Only a few colleges provide this course.

Hey Srishti,

Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communications (B.J.M.C) in Delhi University is a 3 year duration undergraduate program for students who wish to pursue their career in Journalism and media industry. The eligibility of this course is 10+2 or equivalent with 50% marks from a recognized university or board. Average fees for this course will be incurred from Rs. 50,000 to 1, 00,000 depending on the institute offering this course.

If you want to apply in DU DSJ for mass communication here is the procedure for it:

1. Students shall be admitted to this course, through a national level written entrance test conducted by the University of Delhi.
2. The test will be conducted separately for English Medium (Total seats 60) and Hindi Medium (Total seats 60).
3. Students who secure 50% in Class XII (irrespective of the streams) will be eligible to apply for the entrance test.
4. The entrance test will examine the candidate's proficiency in General Knowledge and Current Affairs, and Analytical and Comprehension Skills. The entrance test will be designed with the comparable standard of competitive exams at the national level for Class XII students. The Entrance Test will be an MCQ of total 400 marks having 100 questions of 4 marks each. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
5. The admission will be done completely on the basis of the Entrance Test.
6. Reservation and other exemptions are applicable as per the Delhi University rules.
