Hi Prattay

You have putten a good amount of thought while finalising your decision regarding education why are you doubtful that after a BA degree in Eng (hns) and then Masters in Journalism won't secure your future. You do not worry about your decision, you are just at that stage of confusion. It seems you are interested in both the fields so go for it.

Regarding second part, for English hns at Kolkata, there is,

  • Jadavpur University
  • Presidency College
  • St. Xavier's College
  • Loreto House
  • Gokhale College

For Journalism are Kolkatta and Bangalore

  • Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media
  • Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan
  • Jadavpur University
  • MGU Kolkata
