getting coaching for neet is one of the best idea cause the candidates while preparing for NEET without coaching are required to be honest with themselves. There is no depending on anyone except for oneself and thus, candidates should be disciplined when it comes to following their study regime, be it regular studies or taking up of tests
Biggest advantage is one complete year can be fully devoted for NEET preparation, hence time to cover the vast NEET Syllabus. The possibility of cracking NEET is higher if one decides earlier, thus having a better mind frame to prepare for board exams as well.
one can surely clear the examination without coaching and there have been examples of various students who have done the same previously. Subhashis who scored AIR 205 in NEET UG-2017 and he says that he had cleared the examination without the help of any coaching but he was able to do so because he was honest with himself, he study hardly for 12-15 hours a day.
Preparations for the engineering/medical entrance exams should be started from the beginning of the high school education, i.e., from class 9th. At this stage, students are mature enough to realise their interests and abilities based on which they can decide their career path and as you said you want to join coaching after 12th then it will affect your age limit.
as well as you are joining coaching very late. but it's okay while joining coaching chose the best one for yourself and keep in mind that you have to work very hard because after 2 years if you will not crack neet then it will damage you emotionally
hope this is helpful for you
all the best for your upcoming future
