To become a Software Engineer the minimum Education Qualification requirement is Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field from a recognized board. The candidates who have passed B.E/B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology, Bachelors in Computer Application, B.Sc IT, Computer Science can apply for Software Engineer jobs in various companies provided they must fulfill the eligibility criteria. To admission criteria and the eligibility criteria for the above mentioned courses varies from one course to another and from one college to another. Check the eligibility criteria before applying for admission. You may have to appear for entrance exam if the admission is on basis of merit in entrance exam. If the admission is based on marks scored in 10+2 then you do not have to appear for entrance test.
